Definitions:

Soul Animal:  a species specific animal, whether living, extinct, or of legend, that represents the core energy signature (or "soul") of a living being.  

Spirit Animal: an animal guide that presents itself as a physical animal, via a person's Soul Animal, through a dream, in a meditation, in repetitive conversation or symbolism, or via some other type of shamanic experience.  Other terms that may be utilized for search options on this topic are "animal totem", "animal guide", "spirit animal guide", "animal messenger", "messenger animal", "animal spirit".

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

※ What does knowing my Soul Animal do for me?

    It's another way for you to access yourself.  Knowing your Soul Animal is a tool for you to work through whatever life has, is, or will throw at you.  This is a way to navigate your relationships, your career, your communication needs, your healing, and overall awareness of self.  It is a way to empower yourself and understand energetic patterns in your life.  We are all a part of an amazing energetic network but not all energetic ecosystems are best for us.  Figure out who you are and you'll understand where you should go.

※ Does my Soul Animal change?

    Not in the work I practice.  This is based on the idea that energy doesn't get destroyed it simply moves into other spaces.  Your soul signature is energy and will exist (theoretically) as that energy for all time.  If you understand the ideas behind reincarnation this theory is tied to the same principles.  

※ What is the best Soul Animal match for me?

    I get asked this question the most!  You can make it work with any other Soul Animal but the key word is "work".  How much you want to work determines whether the other person is "right for you".

※ Can I find out my Soul Animal on my own?

    Yes! Meditate, ask your spirit guides for help, work with Spirit, and trust beyond your experiences and ego. For example: If you meditate and see a bear - keep exploring until you see what kind of bear is actually present. There are differences between types of animals.  Remember it is predicted that there are near 8.7 million species on our planet and we have identified around 2 million of them and don't discount the extinct species or animals of legend.

※ Can animals have Soul Animals?

    Yes.

※ Can someone have a Human as their Soul Animal?

    I imagine the answer is yes, but I haven't met one yet.

※ What do you mean someone can be an "animal of legend"?

    Creatures or animals of legend include animals like dragons, unicorns, sea monsters, etc.  Each of these animals comes with symbolism and their own lessons.  Since your Soul Animal is just an animal that represents your energy signature it can match up to legendary or folkloric animals too.  There is a difference between a horse and a unicorn.

※ How can I set up a session with you?

※ What are all your services and what are the prices?

One on One Soul Animal Session: $130 for an hour

Two People (Couples, Friends, Family, etc): $250 for an hour

Three People: $300 for two hours (each additional person after that is $45 each)

I can accommodate a group of up to 30 people but will likely extend the duration of the event up to 4 or more hours to make sure we can cover everyone!

Follow up One on One private sessions: $100 for the hour

Follow up for Two People (Couples, Friends, Family, etc): $200 for the hour

Tailored Shamanic Healing Sessiom: $300

※ How long have you been doing this?

    Nine years.

※ Why do you call yourself "Fox"?

    My Soul Animal is a Red Fox so pretty soon friends were calling me "Fox". I decided to start introducing myself this way as a form of manifesting for myself.  By introducing myself as "Fox" I was not only announcing a recognizable energy in the space but also holding myself accountable to that energy.  I do have a birth name - I love that name very much and it still is used by my family and longest known friends but Fox is what I prefer to be called in public.

※ Where can I learn more about my own Soul Animal?

    Start with the biology!  Google search your Soul Animal and learn about it's life, it's cycles, it's diet, it's environment, it's relationship needs, etc.  This will be a strong foundation to understanding a lot about your self!    Next look up the animal with key words like 'spirit animal', 'animal totem', 'symbolism'.  Read what you can and don't dismiss cultures that have fables, folklore, or legend around your animal - there are clues there for you too!  Next time you are in a zoological or aquarium facility, ask people who work with that animal about their experiences.  I have been working with my own Fox Soul signature for nine years and still learn new things all the time.

※ Do you do anything else besides Soul Animal work?

    I do!  I am a full time artist who explores sculpture, watercolor, fabrication, and even special effects makeup.  In addition to the arts, I dabble in creating and composing music.  When I am not doing those things I am exploring nature, reading, planning adventures, watching films, working magick, recording podcasts, hanging out with tribe, and manifesting the amalgamation of my interests into my life.
